Methanol Holdings (Trinidad) Limited (MHTL)

 

 

MHTL was formed to consolidate the shareholding and management of MI, MII, MIII, MIV and MV.  Although MHTL is responsible for marketing and shipping the product, IPSL provides operational support by facilitating the product loading.

 

     

 

M I

  
 

This was the first world-scale Methanol plant constructed in Latin America and the Caribbean. MI was commissioned in March 1984 and has the capacity to produce 460,000 metric tonnes per year.

  

M II

 

Commissioned in 1993, M II has the capacity to produce 500,000 metric tonnes per year.

 
 

M III

  
 

Commissioned in February 1996, M III has the capacity to produce 550,000 metric tonnes per year.

 

  
 

M IV

  
 

Commissioned in 1998, MIV has the capacity to produce 550,000 metric tonnes per year.

  
 

M V

  
 

Commissioned in 2005, MV has the capacity to produce 1, 890,000 metric tonnes per year.

 

  
 

AUM

  
 

MHTLs train of seven plants was commissioned In 2009 and constitutes our AUM Division producing Ammonia, Urea, Melamine and Nitric Acid/UAN.

  
     

Caribbean Nitrogen Company (CNC)

  
 

 

Caribbean Nitrogen Company Limited is the holding Company for the ammonia facility. 

 

The Caribbean Nitrogen plant was commissioned in 2002 and has the capacity to produce 656,750 metric tonnes per year. 

 

 

 

Nitrogen 2000 (N2K)

  
 

 

The Nitrogen 2000 plant was commissioned in 2004 and has the capacity to produce 656,750 metric tonnes per year.
